Windows Server 2016 support ends on 12/01/2027.
Know what to do with every server.
We review each Windows Server and SQL Server 2016 system you run and give you a costed plan for each one: upgrade, move, retire or protect. Fixed price, agreed in writing before we start.
Why it matters
Source: Microsoft Lifecycle Policy, learn.microsoft.com.
What we look at, server by server
- What the server does and which applications run on it
- Which other systems and people depend on it
- Hardware age and whether it can run a supported version
- Licences you already hold
- Backups and how you would recover it
- Who owns it and who supports it today
Four options for each server
How it works
- 1
Free 30-minute call.
We agree the scope and the number of servers, and confirm the fixed price in writing.
- 2
Read-only information gathering.
Your IT team or provider runs the checks we supply, or gives us read-only access. We never ask for passwords.
- 3
Your costed plan.
A written report with one recommendation per server, the approximate cost of each option and the order to do the work in.
- 4
Walk-through call.
We go through the plan with you and answer questions.
Report delivered within 5 working days for up to 3 servers, 10 working days for up to 15, from the day we receive the information.
